The Daily Splice is run by one worker called Adam Hale, he started collecting newspapers back in 2015 creating daily collages using them.
The Daily Splice’s Collage is notably unique with a natural look to it, the cuts are minimal and not in your face about it, there is no real focal point meaning it’s not drawing attention away from certain areas.
Some of the textures used is a light grainy/rough look, this is because all the images are created using odd ends from free newspapers that he picks up daily. As for colours used he doesn’t have much control over them, but the way he can mix and match and still get a decent looking image from scrap papers is pretty amazing. Although a good majority of his work looks to be mostly earthly tones with vibrant colours added in to bring it together.
